Below is a very insightful article written by David Van Norman, a San Bernardino County deputy coroner's investigator. It is entitled “WHAT EVERY FAMILY MUST KNOW”. Everyone that has a missing loved one, should take a moment to read this. It's very valuable information coming from a man whose life mission is to "teach families to submit samples to be tested for DNA -- such as a toothbrush or T-shirt -- when they report someone missing." Mr. Van Norman deserves praise for his dedication.

Celebration of Hope event planned to announce creation of Finder’s Hope
Jacksonville, FL, April 2, 2008 – The family of missing Jacksonville man, Michael “Austin” Davis, has an event planned for April 26th to celebrate his 27th birthday, and announce the creation of ‘Finder’s Hope’, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping those with a missing loved one. The entire community is invited to participate.
Activities are planned from 7am to 2pm at The Church at Argyle, and include a Yard Sale, Barbecue, Car Wash, and Kids’ activities. The ‘Celebration of Hope’ will begin at 1pm and include a birthday cake cutting, recognition of others missing from the Jacksonville area, and announcement of Finder’s Hope, Inc.
Finder’s Hope, Inc. has been established to help others who have faced the devastation of a missing loved one, by providing support and services, advocacy, and education and awareness of the missing. Those in need of services throughout Northeast and Northwest Florida can visit our website for contact information.
Special guest will be Monica Caison, Founder of the CUE Center for Missing Persons based in Wilmington, NC. Monica has been featured in national media and gained the respect of law enforcement, families, and everyone involved in the cause.
